So in the never ending quest to find some damn wheels for Roxy, some folks over at American Racing gave me the email contact to (I'm guessing) Boyd Coddington's son Chris. He's a GM for Boyd which I'm assuming was sold to AR a few years back. It's kind of funny how my tastes in wheels have changed over the years as American Racing used to be king of the hill when import tuning started to make it's mark waaaay back in 94-95 and then slowly dropped to the bottom of the stacks for other jap-style makers to beat them out in terms of looks/style/price etc etc etc.

I'm still pretty sure the AR street cred is still lacking with folks like you and I but they sure do have some KILLER designs in their vintage series and now that they own Boyd's line or at least own the rights to the name, hopefully Boyds wheels can bring the name back to the top... I mean dude, check these out



These are SICK! Very close to work's look but just have a cleaner sharper edge. And all from the guy who practically inveted billet wheels.

Anyhoo, I'm getting away from the point. Even if he doesn't reply back, it's still cool to see how everything in the car world is sort of related. Here I am trying to find some damn wheels and I get to email the son of a legend to try and find them. Kinda cool in a roundabout way =)
